On a beautiful, glorious springtime St. Patrick’s Day in Charleston, SC, while wearing their best Irish themed face masks and following the CDC social distancing guidelines, the members of The Manning Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians met at St. Lawrence Cemetery to celebrate the Patron Saint of Ireland’s Feast Day. A marvelous time was had by all that attended. The Charleston Pipe Band was no doubt the highlight of the afternoon. The twelve members of the band, dressed to the hilt in their kilts, filled the air with the wonderful sound of the pipes. The music they played lifted everyone’s spirits. There is no doubt that the permanent residents enjoyed the concert as well.
