Welcome to South Carolina's biggest and best St. Patrick's Day Parade.

On Saturday March 16th, 2024, The Charleston St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee invites you to join us and celebrate the holy day in a traditional manner. A celebratory Mass will be held at 8:00 AM at St. Patrick's Church.

At 10:00 AM. The Charleston St. Patrick's Day Parade kicks off with thousands of participants and watchers at King and Radcliffe Streets. The Parade proceeds down King to Broad with the conclusion at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Come say "dia duit" (hello) to Charleston's favorite Irish sons and daughters, enjoy Irish step dancers, fiddlers, fire trucks, military units, bands, and local team mascots.

The Gathering of the Clans

The 3rd annual Gathering of the Clans takes place at 11 AM Saturday, March 2nd at the Charlotte Street Memorial Park. Charleston’s various Celtic organizations come together in celebration of the kickoff to Charleston’s Irish Season.

You can look forward to an Irish tenor and the captivating sounds of bagpipes.  Many of Charleston's favorite Irish sons and daughters will be on hand to welcome our guest speaker Dr. Joseph Kelly, Director of Irish Studies at the College of Charleston.

There is no charge to attend.

Half-way to St. Patrick's Day Celebration and Pot of Gold Raffle

Dunleavy’s Pub In Sullivan’s Island, SC

As we head into the Fall, we gather to celebrate our great patron saint and his feast day.
Members of the Order will gather at Dunleavy’s Pub on Sullivan’s Island on Saturday, September 16th at 3:00 p.m. to enjoy fraternity, hospitality (and possibly the Notre Dame game…) The Division’s Half-Way – Pot O’ Gold Raffle The drawing will take place at/or about 5:00 p.m.

If you would like to participate in the raffle, which supports the charitable activities of the Order, please call Chris Bermingham at 603-305-1302.  Tickets are $50 each and supply is strictly limited to just 250 chances.

The three raffle prizes are: $3,000.00; $500.00; and $250.00.

Summer Meet-up

The Division doesn’t hold business meetings during the summer, but that won’t stop the craic!

On 23 July, we are planning an informal get together with all members invited. This will be a casual gathering to get to know each other, particularly our newest members, better.

Join your brothers at The Brick (24 Ann Street, Charleston) beginning at 5PM July 23th, 2023.

Come as you are and offer a toast to our late brother George Patrick Young and help celebrate America's birthday month. The event will include the first couple rounds on the Division along with some snacks. There's plenty of parking.. See you there!

Join us for an evening of Irish trad music at the College of Charleston.

The College of Charleston’s Irish House Concert Series continues April 29th with a performance by Irish Master Fiddler Gerry O’Connor with Kevin McElroy. Doors open at 7 for a reception. Music starts at approximately 7:30. The new home of this House Concert Series is in the College's School of Education building (EHHP) at the corner of Wentworth and St. Phillip Streets. Enter through the courtyard facing St. Phillip.

This event is hosted by the College of Charleston Irish & Irish American Studies Program

We will be meeting at the Paulin Book & Media Store in downtown Charleston [243 King Street].  We will enter the building in the back of the store which is located between King St. and St. Phillip Street.  Its entrance is off Meeting St. between Archdale St. and King St. The is also a metered lot at 45 Archdale St. The Wentworth Garage is also available at 81 Wentworth St. 

                        Our 2022 Meeting Dates are:

Irish Supper

We will have our Irish Supper on Tuesday, March 8th, at Tommy Condon's (Abbey Room). The doors will open at 6:30 PM and dinner will be served promptly at 7:30. EVENT DETAILS

The 1st annual kickoff to Charleston's Irish Season begins at 11 AM. The day includes various local Celtic organizations. Tickets are not required for this event and is open to the public.*
